FROM A PROUD NIMBY:

Well folks, it is sad to see in tonights newspaper that the Boggs Township supervisors have sold us down the river - AGAIN.    They had a long standing ordinance in place that would not have allowed PA Waste to accept garbage on Saturday's or during certain hours but they (the supervisors) showed their lack of a spine and agreed to change their long standing ordinace to pacify PA Waste.

What this will do is allow more hours during the weekdays and now will allow Saturday's for trash to be delivered to the Boggs Township site.  

Of course we can expect the argument will show up here shortly that "they had no choice because PA Waste would sue Boggs Township if they didn't change it".

The question is: Doesn't it make you the least bit suspicious that PA Waste, any time they think they can't get exactly what the want will threaten court action???  If they are our friends as they claim to be, why are they always being the bully?

The sad thing is that once they get their permit, they will - WILL - sell off to an established landfill company and laugh, laugh, laugh all the way back to Harrisburg!!!    And never take another phone call from the Boggs Twp Supervisors HAHAHAHAHAHAHA   Cha-Ching!    The sad thing is, the supervisors don't even realize how they are being played.

Now, cfw1661 pretty strong accusations about the Alice Pub incident you do have your facts correct?
Is the reading public sure they can trust your leadership? After talking to a few of the defendants seems that your doing the deceit and misinformation act so I assume here you are a CCFBTD member? If not why do you use that approach? For what reason? People are watching, why not have the spine that you accuse others of lacking and put your name to what you write? Could it be because you know the facts and the evidence don’t match or is it you just can’t resist lying and misinforming others to achieve your perceived goals, as to lying maybe you need professional help? I’m guessing that you take Dan Surra at his word when he encourages you and the anti-fillers to rid themselves of the leaders they disagree with when they don’t do what you demand. You deviate and take it to one level lower and use misinformation and deceit to achieve those goals. Being honest in your attempts doesn’t concern you. I’ve stated it before that the CCFBTD chooses to misinform and deceive and once again here the words are out there and the public is hearing them once again! I’ve got no idea whether you are a CCFBTD card carrier or not all you do is bolster the evidence as to what depths the group will stoop to achieve it’s ends.:)

YOU CANT, because he was NOT there, but I was, eating food with my dad, mother and boyfriend. By the way, DAD IS OF AGE, and chooses not to drink… he had Mountain Dew as always ASK THE WAITER!!!!!! :)

While I'm not sure what to make out of the Alice's Pub post, I do know what I reported in the first post to be true and factual as it was report in the local newspaper on online sites.

I still only seek answers to specific questions, not rants and ramblings....

My questions still remain:

Q: Why do we need this landfill?

Q: Why are the Boggs Twp Supervisors so tight with PA Waste?

Q: Why have the supervisors never opposed anything that PA Waste has requested?

Q: When is the pro-landfill meeting taking place? I would like to attend so I can hear some good factual reasons why this is a good project for the area.

Ans That’s another question to ask of John face to face maybe they don’t meet in public? They might be like the Bergerbilders? Maybe it doesn’t exist? When did John ever say it was a good project for the area?
